What helps me answer properly
- What the company does, in one line
- Whether there is a site already, and its address
- What the site should make easier: calls, bookings, orders, something else
- Any date you are working towards
What happens after
You get a scope and a price, not an open-ended estimate. If I think the job is smaller than you expect, I will say so, and if I think a site will not solve the problem, I will say that too.
